          The Rocket World Project provided an opportunity for students to experience space travel and exploration in a virtual way. Some got to ride on a virtual spaceship to the Moon and even interact with real astronauts and ask them questions about space travel and future NASA plans. Some students got to explore Mars in a virtual world while others experienced a space walk simulation. There was both virtual and real (under appropriate supervision) rocket building and even a mixed reality experience for some lucky students.
